The car was in a front end wreck before i got ahold of it. Im asumming, that broke the nut inside, and they just removed the bar. Or they removed the bar and broke the nut. Something along those lines. Im just going to figure what to do. OH, I think i realized what scott was talking about. ARe you talking about a plate, that has a nut attached to it? That could work. Enlarge the hole, and slide the nut inside of it, and then weld the plate. Thats a good idea.
That's it exactly. Like stang6790 was saying though. If it's a nice round hole and only the nut is missing the nut zerts work pretty darned good.

the hole is alittle oblong..... they probably wouldn't hold. man, That would be great, if it was round. still thanks for all of your help. My dad says there is something else, you can use for that, but he cant remember.... Alas the signs of old age.
