Default having trouble with my carb

there is something with my carb going wrong the butterfly valve isnt slanted and when i accelarate in my car i can hear like this backfire popping type of sound coming from the carb or near it im getting smoke out of one of my exhaust pipes and the other one is just acting normal but i have no idea whats going on with it, any one had a problem with this b4

Vacuum leak at the manifold base or under the carb, bent/cracked valve, bent pushrod(s), flat lobe on the cam, collapsed lifter probably exhuast, cracked/broken/holed piston, or a messed up spark plug from what you are saying.

if I could hear it, touch it and feel it run, it would be much easier to figure out what it is.

might not be that serious, but could be pretty bad.

when i accelarate i can hear it popping and the more i accelarate it pops faster and faster and when i accelarate it also takes a while to pick up speed

I seriously doubt its the carb. Look into the valve train. Pull the valve cover off the side making the smoke and make sure all the rocker arms are moving the same amount, and contacting the valve tips when the valve is fully closed. There shouldnt be any gap between the valve tip and the rocker arm with a hydrualic lifter.

The first thing I would check would be the timing. Backfiring is generally related to improper timing.

alright ill be sure to check them both ill go with the timing then check out the valves. thanks ill be sure to let u guys know how it goes
