California Special Deck Lid Came!
ahhh finally its here.....it showed up with a chip off one corner but i dont think its a big deal and can be filled at the body shop probably....
anyways...its pretty solid feeling, pretty thick and what not....
i just sort of put it on the car but havent fitted it much yet....its gonna need some work and i prob will leave it up to the body shop....

The body shop had to do some major work to get mine nice and straight, so I doubt the chip is going to be that big of a deal....
Im my opinion, this is hands down one of the nicest body mods you can make on the 65-68 mustangs. It totally beefs up the rear look of the mustang...
gonna look sweet shifty, nice buy!

i also got the california special tail lights so dont think im stopping at just the deck lid. 
im very friggin excited....but now i gotta make all the money back again to get to paint.........

+1 i molded mine in i beileve i got over 2000 thousand in glass on my car
but it looks pretty unique without being over the top i think and its all stuff that easily reversable

yeah, well....way too late to not spend most of the fund....but im slowly building it back up....i wish people actually wanted used parts....i have original deck lid, corner extentions, valances...etc....cant get anyone to buy......or at least every deal falls through......lol
anyways, i did spend a lot, but a lot less than if i had at say.... Mustangs Plus....thier shipping and tax, plus overall highish prices along with most other places sucks.....
trophymustang.com was awesomely priced and hads like the best shipping prices ever id say.....i spent i think like $20 somthing on shipping for everything for this conversion....tail light and everything with em, the deck lid, corners, etc....and no tax....so awesome....
so now i have my....

i had to pay freight for my glass fenders from maier racing that was a hefty bill ill take ur old part ill get a 67-68 eventually ill pay shipping and 5 dollars a piece

not bad at all...I think I dropped 350 on the deck lid, and another 250ish for my front valance.....but i live less than 20 minutes from Mustangs Plus, so I think I saved a buck or two on not shipping anything
Trust me, what you dont spend at the parts store you'll be paying for at the body shop...
