hmmm.....I've seen worse.
Glad to see no one was seriously hurt.
Looks like you about 1000 ft from the intersection though....not alot of space/time for alot of things to have happened with another car.

Honda just did a simliar thing to me 2 days ago
Driving on 2 lane country highway. I am riding behind Mini van in overdrive. Honduh with a wing a 4 kids comes up fast moves over into on coming lane to pass me in a no passing zone. I gas up in OD and close the gap between me and the mini van. Amish buggy is in the oncoming lane, honduh moves over on me forcing me halfway on the shoulder while we share the lane driver door to passenger door. He lets up on his gas slightly and backs off so that I can move back over into the lane. I slow down and shot him the finger. Buggy passes, a real passing zone opens up with no traffic, I down shift go around minivan and never saw him again.
You gotta watch out for idiots out there.

thats a shame! How fast was you going? it looks like you hit really hard. the front ends of them old stangs usually dont fold up that bad. in my younger days i hit a big oak tree head on in a 69 cougar eliminator at about 30 and did about the same damage you did. that baby was pearl white, blue interior, with the 351w 4barrel. had 40 thousand miles and was sweeeeeet!

yeah so i have to get a quote today. trucking company said i chipped their paint...like i really care about there chip on the 6x6 steel beam i hit. ill go get some spray paint just to make them stop bitchin. anyways to mojoe it was on lathrop and I5 north onramp. yeha i got full coverage in my insurance and there really good so more then likely it will be fixed. Im not driving it untill i get a harness an a roll bar. but if it does get fixed im thinking about selling it and geting a 06 because i need to save money and stop spending it on gas, and it would be nice to have air bags! ill let you guys know how it goes...

That car can be fixed. Don't crush it. Your nose may be sore for awhile, but at least you don't have a steering wheel through your chest. Consider yourself lucky. Unlucky for the accident, but lucky you are still alive to talk about it.
