1967 mustang 6 cylinder
Hey guys- I'm new to the group so I hope I'm doing this right. My son and I are working on a 1967 Mustang, 6-cyl, automatic. My question: When you press the gas, all you can hear is the sucking sound of the carburator. The car runs fine. It's just not a good "muscle car" sound. We put Clifford" headers and dual exaust on the car, but the carb sucking sound is drowning it out. Yes, the factory air filter and housing are on the car. Anyone help?

try checking in the Classic's section. just about all of the guys in here have fuel injected mustangs, plus, most of the guys with classic 6ers are usually in there anyway, so the classic guys may be able to help you out a little better with your issue.
