Default Suspension & Disc Brakes

Ok, Here's what I have 1967 Coupe with I6. Going to be sons first car. He wants to put a 390 i have in it but, thats not going to happen right now. I do want to change the suspension and put disc brakes on it. Question is can I use the super suspension kit from http://www.laurelmountainmustang.com/index-1024.htm to lower the car 1" and keep the stock cowl springs for now for a good ride height for the I6, and later on just changing the cowl springs in the kit. Also from what i have read on here looks like about the best place to get disc brakes is from http://www.discbrakeswap.com/ going with SWAP.2 Classic Ford Disc Brake Swap Kit.
Already put in new floorboards and almost done with the cowl vents. All help would be greatly appricated.

If you are planning to eventually put in the V8, then now would be a good time to go ahead and upgrade the suspension and brakes. The Grab-A-Trak suspension parts seem to be the cheapest and best bang for the buck. You have also chosen the cheapest and best new Granada disk brake parts. Good luck with it.

Grab-a-trak suspension parts can be purchased at just about any Mustang vendor place. We have an extensive list of those companies in the FAQ section. And yes, just tell Dennis that you are a member of this forum, then you will get the discount. The price is $445.00 cash or money order plus shipping. A credit card purchase will cost you an extra 15 bux. Just email him for further details.
