400+ to the rear wheels is feasible without the stroker kit. As are 12's. The Cleveland breathes pretty good, so you just need to feed it with the right cam, some good headers, a single plane intake, and some gears (3.89 works pretty good...unless you're one of those highway cruising people).

THANKS ... just kidding sorry about that. i have found stroker kit on ebay actually theres a couple any one in here ever stroked a 351c 4v im looking to get around 400+ at the rear wheels and would like to be in the mid 12's with the factory ac . is this possible? as for the color changes im going to a bright blue with all the mach 1 badges and stripes in white so i dont have to worry about the stickers fading or peeling off. as for the interior i really like the looks of all white with black carpet. again thanks for replies and i will try and CONTROL myself from being to LOUD . hehe im glad i found this site how do i post pics ?

i have a cleveland 4V, i have a lunati bracket master II cam, Weiand X-celerator single plane intake, edelbrock 650cfm carb, longtube hooker headers, 2400stall converter and 3.55gears, the stall and gears arent in yet. and i looking at some kinda locker for the rear. and that will pretty much sum up all the mods i want for my car. i believe i should be somewhere around 400.[&:]

3.89 sounds a little steep what would my top mph be ? i like to wind it out every now then to ivr had her up to about 123mph in her current condition then all of a sudden it started raining? Radiator fluid that is d#%* heater core hose bust on me right before indio had no tools crooked mech charged me 230 $ said he was going to change hose and everything else that went along with it. when i checked all that he did was plug the hose off so of course i questioned him about it and he started getting really crazy with me . he still had my keys to and threatend to keep my car if i didnt pay had no choice but to pay and get the heck out there. hey atom what kind of times are you posting

Your top speed will be dependant on your engine redline. I have 3.80's with 245/60-16s and should top out between 120-130 (6500 rpm for 130). An auto with 3.89's will be a little slower with the same tire, but not by much. 3.5x's would be better for mixed use.

thanks for the info ill start checking for those i have the 4 speed with brand new clutc i should rebuild this when i pull the motor right.. still feel like i should stroke her but if i can get low mid 12 without ican put that money into body work and paINT .

The toploader probably doesn't need rebuilt quite yet. It definitely wouldn't hurt to get new bearings and synchros, but if it's working great now, I wouldn't mess with it. Just make sure that clutch you bought can handle the power and you may want to think about a new driveshaft, too.
