Default I'm thinking about getting a new cam for my 66 GT

Well I have a 66 GT, with a 302 4 bbl Holley, high performance air cleaner, a soon to be rebuilt transmission with a shift kit and extended gear ratios, and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The motor is really clean, you can see pics of it in my profile.

so I estimate I am doing about 260 HP or so. anyhow, I was thinking about getting a cam.

I have heard of a cam called an rv-cam? Anyone else heard about these.

How much HP can I gain from a cam as well? 25? more?

Also, my dad said I shouldn't do it, b/c then the motor would be too built up and I would have to worry too much about it, and have to change spark plugs all the time, if I added a cam is that true?

Also, how much does it cost? Well thanks, hopefully you guys can help me out. I want to do whatever I can to get more power.

For spark plug fouling, you can get a MSD or something like that. It work on mine.
