Drip rails
I posted a few days ago about rusted out drip rails. The concensus seemed to be to cut them off and weld the seam, but that there could be a problem with water leaks.
My plan is to eventually make my 65 Mustang coupe my daily driver. And that would require driving in the rain. I'm tired of computer controlled emission packing new cars that have miles of wires and sensors that you can't fix yourself. And then little crap goes out that costs a bundle to replace cause besides the cost of the part you have to pay up to $75.00 an hour to the mechanic! (sorry for the tangent)
I was wondering if it would be worth it to us Por-15 to seal up the existing rust and perhaps use their epoxy putty to fill in the holes that go through. Has anyone tried this and succeeded?

RE: Drip rails
I used the rust sealer and then a single thicknes of fiberglass, worked like a champ. Didn't think of using epoxy but that will work to if the holes are not to big.
