used a really cool color at work a few weeks ago called redfire i beileve it was off of a pontiac grand prix it looked similar to the kandy i painted on my vert but was a 2 stage paint it was a maroonish apple red and could easily be touched up compared to the kandy which cant [/URL]

Dude ur my age, I wouldn't want to get a bright color if I were you. Colors like red and grabber orange, and even yellow will attract wayyyy to much attention, especially that of the cops. I'm sure you don't want tickets when ur 16. I know i don't. I've always liked dark moss green, even tho that wasn't an origional color from 68. My friend is painting his that color.

Redfire is a Ford color that started with the '03 Mustang.

I would start with whatever your favorite color is, then add some metallic of a complementing color to add a nice splash of pizzazz. No need to just use a color from a book...customize that thing!

the one i used was called redfire (effect) i beileve i might be a little off on the name but i pretty sure that was it this was on a late 90 gp(lots of colors names are used for the different manufactures and they are completely different colors)

As far as reds are concerned, my 03 Mach is "Torch Red". I like it for a bright red color.

zeah my neighbor has a azure blue mach 03 i beileve he said the rarest mach color on the new ones is white? i like the red and all but its too pastel for my taste

forget the bright orange, it's all about the burnt orange with black shelby stripes

burnt orange os over done right now it needs a rest so many people are using it[:@] its a cool color though
