I go thru CJ Pony Parts
There are close to me so the shipping is lower.

I have used many. CJ Pony and Laurel Mountain Mustang have been the best.

NPD don't speak English when I called them the guy couldn't understand me and i don't have a broad accent, so why he could not follow a few numbers, then he asked were i was calling from and i said the netherlands which he didn't get then i said holland which he understood, he told me my english wasn't very good, i said that's odd since i am english followed by some advance anglo-saxon i.e. **** and will never use them. CJ have been good for me as have john's but shipping takes ages.....

Mustang Plus and Sacaramento Mustang for me is the way to go.

Why?

Because I'm able to shop in both places in person, great service, tons of inventory, and good people.

However, good point about the avoidence of taxes, I'm going to give an out of state online store a shot, but then again, I'll be stuck with shipping fees.

Ok, never mind.

depends on what I am buying, and what price and quality it is. I dont buy something because its cheap, I buy it because its good or will actually work. For engine parts I buy good parts that arent premium priced, you cant have an engine or trans run well for long with junk inside it.

trophymustang.com

i pretty much exclusively shop from them now....no tax, CHEAP!!! shipping...and cheapest prices on all parts essentially...even if its only by a few dollars....plus prompt email responses and good website.

i only shop at other places when its for a site specific thing like the restomod ground effects that is made by mustangs plus......im having a door shell two fenders and other stuff shipped to me for $16.95....thats just insanely good if you ask me....

i already had my whole california special conversion shipped to me for cheap also....its good stuff too.....
hey shifty, what determines if you have to pay tax or not? Is that a state based thing?

i dono, its prob just if you live in Illinois then you pay tax....everywhere else, none.

That's true about engine parts. Those should be bought from an
American company. All the other parts are made overseas as in outsourcing management dedisions. It's all crap, but the only aftermarket crap we can buy for our ponies is made in foreign countries. However, we still have manufacturers who will make parts for our old dinosaurers. Ask a 1957 Plymouth owner where they get their parts from.
