Prepurchase Inspections

Prepurchase Inspections
I live in Redding (northern California) and I am looking to buy a very nice 1967-1970 Mustang. I have seen many Mustangs in Southern California listed on Ebay and other online sites. My problem is that I cannot be driving to LA or San Diego all the time to check out cars. I am looking for a person who is qualified to thoroughly inspect a classic Mustang, including underbody, paint/body, suspension, drivetrain and interior. I fully expect to pay a reasonable fee for the inspection. Do any of you guys in Southern California know of a qualified inspector.
I have also seen a lot of cars around San Francisco. Can any of you Northern California guys help me find a qualified inspector in the San Francisco Bay area?.

RE: Prepurchase Inspections
Good find Pammie!
Brings up another interesting point. As a seller, why not have your vehicle pre-inspected and put the report right in with your ad?
The cost is minimal, and you add it to the price of the vehicle. If the inspector turns up a deficiency you have the oportunity to fix it before the sale, or work out a deal with the buyer.
Doesn't get more honest than that. As a perspective buyer, I'd be willing to spend the extra money to work with a person like this.
