65mojoe, so what size tires you recommend for my 15 x 7's?

Back, front?

You could go 235/60's in the rear and either a 215 or 225/60 in the front.

Much appreciated!

...and you are right, all flashy chrome too tacky, too thug, too ghetto.

Polished aluminum and grey powdercoat are the way to go.

What was the backspacing used on your 7" wide TT D's ?
Ideally you have 4.25" up front and 4.5" in the rear (or 4.25 on all 4 corners) for maximum clearance.

The BS on my 14X7 Mag 500's is 4.25 and I am running 195-70-14 tires. I could go a little fatter and taller on the tire, but not very much for really good clearance. I think a 65-66 looks just right with that size tire. The 67 and up look good with bigger tires. I'ts all in the eye of the beholder.

Linky no worky. I see the difference in the polished aluminum and the chrome now, and fully agree the polished aluminum looks far superior to the chrome. That's a good looking wheel.

Keep trying that link, Soaring.

Like I said in the PM, these are the specs on my wheels:

American Racing Torq-Thrust D 15x7 5/4.5
American Racing Torg-Thrust D 15" 1-piece alloy. Magnesium grey with machined lip. Available for RWD vehicles. -6mm offset, and 3 3/4" backspace

The very top one..."American Racing Torq-Thrust D 15x7 5/4.5", the 5/4.5 number means the bolt pattern, not the backspacing.

The backspacing on all four wheels are 3 3/4.

That should do it, correct?

Yes. Man, that is one great classic looking wheel. Sorta reminds me of the GT charcoal Bullitt wheels. Good find. Let's let everybody have a look at what you are talking about.

My girlfriend's dad has a set of these on his black chevelle and they look killer! He has a HUUUUGE set of 20's in the back and 18's in the front. The polished lip with the grey centers is totally unique, that is going to be a nice look.
