Default RE: Engine Chrome - bling, bling!!

As requested, here are some more photos of the chrome engine. There are many more chrome parts underneath the car and in the trunk. My Mustang shop estimates it would cost 5 to 6 thousand to duplicate today (here in California chroming is VERY expensive). Keep in mind this was done over 15 years ago. And yes, the radiator is brass.

Since I am new to the Mustang world and this site, I am wondering if anyone else has a stang with this much chrome? I am not a "look at me" type of person. Even with all this, I must say it doesn't look overdone to my eyes. What do you think?

I wasn't sure if I was going to change the amber fog lights for clear (afterall, they are distinctive). But after the consensus of this group - you win. Out they go! (But the Recaro seats and 3-point belts are staying!)

Yeah dude, keep the seats! And it'll take you a grand total of five minutes if you ever get bored and wanna swap those lenses back to amber.

When I was looking for a 68 Mustang for my wife I saw (and test drove) a Mustang with more chrome than that in the engine bay. Frankly, both me and my wife thought it was ugly. Ther was too much chrome without the painted parts to set it off. From what I can see in the pictures, yours looks pretty nice, at least to my taste. I probably wouldn't have quite so much chrome. For my taste, I think the engine compartment looks best with small amounts of chrome as accents to the engine, but when the whole engine and accessories have basically all been chromed, like the car I looked at, it's a bit much. Actually, it's way too much.

You think it looks good so screw what we think on the forum!! it's your ride, but since you asked.... nice extrior, nice interior, 100% to much chrome in the engine bay imo, not a chrome fan makes me think show pony not race horse.... just my 2 cents enjoy the car

i like the chrome look, not a fan of the gold (brass)rad though. Car itself is very nice. The fog lights, i could give or take.
