Default 65 f/b and jackstands

I've got some good news as far as work goes, job security for at least another year. Now,I'm going to keep my 65 and start tear down. I'm looking for the best place to support the car on jackstands so I can dissassemble the suspension. Where is the best placement for jackstands so I don't damage or bend anything?

If you are going to take out the entire front and rear suspension, then about the only places you have left are the frame rails for your stands. Use a piece of 2X6 lumber between the jack and rail when you jack it up. You are going to need a floor jack under the differential in order to get the rear leaf springs out and new ones on.
