Sounds like you did a poor job of sealing the new intake when you installed it (assuming you were not having this problem before)

Take it off
Clean all surfaces
Use new gaskets
Use a bit of RTV
Tighten and torque in the correct sequence working from the inside out

then change the oil
flush the coolant
refill everything and start it up

You used the corks on the ends, didn't you? You should use just a bead of RTV on the ends and around the water ports. Throw the corks in the trash.

Because you don't have a good seal around the intake and your sucking oil into the cylinders.

If it was not sealed properly:
oil can get into the conbustion chambers
coolant can get in the combustion chanbers
oil can get into the coolant
coolant can get into the oil

It can all be pretty nasty.

The reason to not use the cork on an intake is not the quality of the gasket, but the height. The gaskets many times are just too tall and don't allow the intake to sit down on the heads to make a proper seal. I've also seen them too short...and being short isn't good, either.
