Default where can i find this tool?

in this guide i received (thanks btw) they use a tool to put the brake shoe hold down on and off. i need this tool really bad, cuz i cant get those on and its holding me up. does anyone know if i can find them at like autozone or o'reillys-or is that a specialty part. lmk-thanks

you can buy that at any major and/or competant auto parts store.

Napa would be first stop though

nah, theres no napa close to me-the closest is a carquest-but theyre ghetto, im gonna go to autozone or o'reillys-have any idea how much thatll run me?

When you ain't got the tool and pair of needle nose pliers will work. Use the pliers to push on the retainer washer and then grab the tip of the pin with them. Turn the tip of the pin until it is seated in the slot on the washer.

ill try the pliers method-should i put the adjuster on before i put my shoes on-or after?

I put the adjuster on first but it will work either way. I've seen guys put them on last. There are a lot of ways to do it.

I also used the pliers method. Maybe a few broken knuckles but it's worth it. Chicks dig scars
