Default Sweet Sounds of Silence - Dynomat

How many of you have used in Dynomat. I was told it can make a significant difference in the cabin noise and squeeks It's very expensive - but is it worth it?

I was warned against using cheaper sound proofing materials becasue they are simply not as effective.

I've used the cheap Home Depot Peel and Seal for sound deadening and works fine. Here is a link to a site with really good objective data on various products...hope it helps with your decision making....keep us informed of what you choose and how it worked!!

I've also heard good things about "Lizard Skin" - seems that the Cobra kit crowd uses it to cut down on both heat and noise. I'm going to look into using it on the interior and underside when doing my Charger.

Hey Tony - I love all the cars listed in your signature; but Plymouth didn't make the Super Bee...

The peel and seal stuff is ok, but if you really want to do a good job, get the Dynomat. Ebay has it listed for decent prices, depending on which model(model?) u get...

DOH!!! My fingers got going too fast for my mind to keep up... Thanks for the heads up. I must have been looking at some Road Runner article when I typed the profile pages...

Either it was 1 am when I was filing out the signature or I was holding my squirming 10 month old son in one arm and trying to speed type with one finger ( as usual...)

Thanks for the correction...
