Pony door panels aren't a direct fit?
My mustang originally had standard door panels but i opted to upgrade to the pont door panels. I heard some modifications are needed to make them fit. Can anyone support this? Thanks

Yes, mods are needed. The pony panels are fatter so you will need new window regulators with the longer shafts, where the handle attaches. Same for the door opener. There is also a bracket that goes inplace of the arm rest. That is all the mods I can think of.

The mod can be pretty expensive. With the changes I listed plus getting the stainless trim and the new inside door handles it can really add up. They do look way better than the standard panels though.

You can pickup an NPD catalog, or any other Mustang vendor catalog and prove him right yourself.
