Up and running with new heads

Up and running with new heads
Finally have my rebuilt 302 back from the builder and installed. While it was out and apart, decided to upgrade to some Edelbrock aluminum heads. What a difference! Also added a spacer plate between the carb and intake manifold. I sure am happy with the upgrades. I should be around 350 horses. Dyno in the Spring will tell.
BTW That isn't a beer gut. I'm just sticking my belly out to support my daughter [sm=bangbang.gif]

RE: Up and running with new heads
Very cool, engine looks great. I've had my 351w in for over a month and have yet to get it running but we had A LOT of things to take care of. (heater, brake system, rebuild everything, paint, prep, blah blah) I'm hoping to start it this weekend

Looks good! BTW, what color is your Mustang? My '65 2+2 is originally Silver Blue but I was thinking of painting it 64-1/2 Guardsman Blue which looks similar to yours.

I love the smell of a fresh engine firing for the first time, the paint burning off, the assembly lube beng consumed in combustion... the first aroma of the hydrocarbons is better to me than any other aroma in the world.. cant wait to enjoy them fumes again early next year..
