The only real savings is by going with a used transmission, and that's only if it's in good shape. Probably save a good $600.00 or more that way. (IMO) the best cross member going is the one from Modern Driveline. Very tight to the transmission for good exhaust room, perfect fit, and beefy. I did some serious shopping and was able to save about $200.00 on all new stuff. If I was to do it over, I'd just go with Modern Driveline's kit. It's solid.
