Default I can't find it

Hey everyone,
I cant find two things for my 69 coupe. I have been looking for awhile and haven't had any success in finding them. The first thing is the Vinyl top molding, i cant find this for a 69. The second is the Molding that is between the door window and quarter window. I have only been able to find that for a fastback. Any information in finding these would be great. Thanks

Believe it or not there is a difference, at first i didnt know it either until i bought 69 glass and tried to install it. It turns out that the glass that i bought was for a fastback and not a coupe. If you look in the catalogs from CJ pony parts or Mustangs unlimited you'll see. The fastback glass isnt as tall and has more of a slant to it.

65-68 fastback door glass is rounded at the back, where as the coupes are squared off to match the quarter windows weather strip.

Have you tried Perogie Enterprises? They had all the Grande chrome moldings for my '71.

Yep. I like the rarity of the car, and the vinyl top looks at home on my car. I'm going to have to replace it sometime soon, though. A few too many rips and I don't want to take a chance on rusting out the roof.[:@]

I'm going to probably buy a white top and have it died to match the current color then have it sprayed with the gold metal flake the factory top has. I don't have a camera that can capture enough detail, but the factory top is really good looking in the sun with that gold metal flake contrasting the dark brown top.
