Genral consensus is KYB gas adjust for best bang for the buck. about $35-$40 a pop. High end, Konis...i think a couple of hundred each, not shure though, out of my rrange. I have used the KYB's on several cars and have never regretted it.

If you are going to drive the car like a bat out of hell though, you better think about suspension and brakes too...
good luck.

Agreed. The KYB gas adjusts shocks are the best street performance shocks if you can't afford the manually adjustable Konis.

The KYB GR-2 shocks work well for daily drivers.

ORIGINAL: SuperHoss

The KYB GR-2 shocks work well for daily drivers.
So do Monroe-Matics, but the GR-2's are a cheaper shock for a reason.

For the Bat out of Hell driving you can't beat stiff springs and good Koni's!

Eldebrock IAS are quite nice...I replaced my kyb gas a just with them and will never go back...cheaper than Koni's too

Konis if you're really going to be pushing the car that hard.
Hope the rest of the suspension is ready as well though.
Takes more than just a shock to make a classic Mustang handle well [sm=gears.gif]
