Default flex plate connected to the crank shaft

and thats my problem.

one of the nuts holding the flexplate to the torque converter is rubbing against the engine plate.

so i need to get another 1/8 in between crankshaft and flex plate so it will clear

Any ideas?

THAAAAAANNNNNNKKKKKSSSSS!

Wha kind of shape is your engine plate in? Sounds like it's bent. If not, are the nuts oversized or stock?
