RE: Coil springs upsidedown?
If you get 1" reduced 620 springs and then do the shelby drop, is that going to mess with the spring? I cant remember exactly but ive heard it puts too much pressure on the spring or something...[&:]

Something else to keep in mind which may seem obvious but was the case with my 66 coupe when I got it.Make sure each spring is in the correct side of the car. That is left and right side springs.I could not work out why the back left of my car was one inch higher than the back right.I thought the problem was in the leaf springs and went to have them reset. They also changed the front coils and when they pulled the springs out in the workshop they found they were 6 cyl springs and the left spring in the right side and right spring in the left side.
They put in new 620 springs correctly and the car sits right now.

Apparently not ! The guys at the workshop said they had been put in by some backyarders who didn't realise there is a LH and a RH spring. My new springs have left and right stamped on them.It was incredible how it skewed the car over to one side when they were in **** about.

All I can say is my car now sits right and the new springs have L/H and R/H stamped on them.If it weren't critical they wouldn't stamp them would they ?
The place I had them installed at has been doing springs for over 50 years. They said it is common to see springs around the wrong way as some backyarders don't realise there is a difference.
