Default frame damage

Is it possible for one section of frame to come un-welded from another? I've been driving around and just noticed that.

front.....frame piece that is parallel to sides of body on drivers side is sitting out about one-half inch from frame piece that goes from side to side. The same location on the passenger side does not look like that.

Short answer = yes. Pictures would be very helpful, however.

was planning on driving it to a frame repair outfit. Maybe I'd better put it on a rollback?

Take some digital pics of what you are talking about so we can get a better picture of your damage.

Photo attached. Driver's side. You can see space - other side is not like that. The box on the right is the bottom of the seat platform???

Driver's side. You can see space between frame and body. I think the large box on the right is the bottom of the seat paltform???

That is a cheesy weld from a previous repair.
Yeah, I'd get it to a reputable frame shop and see what other damage has been cheesed over.

Unfortunately you can't just weld it up either. You have to measure the diaginals and make sure the car is still straight prior to welding it back together. Hence the reason for a frame shop, because if it is 'out' it will need to be pulled back into straight
