okay...im trying to get the window out of my door so i can swap it over to the new door shell but i cant seem to get this big metal hunk off....its toward the back of the door.....i believe its the thing the door slides up and down on....do i need to take the track that runs parallel to the bottom of the door off? it appears there is 3 screw but they are badly stripped.....will the window come free if i just drill out the screws?

remove the two roller on the bottom the of the window then roll the scissor assembly all the way down then tilt the window towards the front of the sheel and pull the rear out 1st

no im way past that....everything is out of the door except the door glass.....theres nothing left besides glass and the metal its attached to.....not the regular, lock, anything....etc...

Then do like Rmodel said.. lift the rear of it out first. Be sure to clear the rollers so they dont catch on the door frame. There is a vertical track one roller slides in, then a scissors on the bottom that is connected to the regulator. If all of that is out, then its a simple matter of pulling the window out rear first.
