RE: Classic Mustang Dealers in USA?
No luck with any of the ones posted apart from the collectorcartraderonline one. Please keep them coming! Also search sites where private people and traders place ads would be useful. thanks

baddog mine 5-10fter cost around $13000 and sweden cars will be way more expensive, I would try France and Germany, but buying from the states including importing, taxes and shipping will still be cheaper.

Hi,
importing yourselves has the advantage that it might be cheaper in the end (you don't have the middleman involved). But for that you need to know exactly how much the shipping will cost, and how much tax and duty you'll have to pay.
I imported mine to Ireland directly from the states.
Consider only southwestcoast (as above) or texas (for cheap shipping and little rust).
i bought mine on ebay and i got a fair car for a fair price. the only muistak ei made is not to make sure the car came originally with a V8. Mine was upconverted. but old springs, small rearend and **** ...
(i knew it was upgrade, but i didn't know that half the car needs to be changed as well) ....
I paid shipping Los Angeles to Ireland 100) Euro (1200$) and duty+vat was another 30% on top (on price+shipping!)
When you buy via eba you can make up a contract with seller for less$ (results in less vat/duty). but is risky ...
If you['re not up for that and the hassle consider buying in europe.
Paddy187 gave me a link to a mustang repair/part shop in germany (www.classicmustangshop.com) and they told me on the phone that people fropm spain would ship their car there for repairs. maybe they know where to buy one.
and always check ebay.
Filter for all 1965 to 1967 mustangs. look at the pictures and descriptions and you'll get a rough idea what you'll get for your money.
I never saw the car before i bought it (risky) but the seller was honest with it.
People at the forums can help you on what to look out for and you might ask for specific pictures of it.
Your best bet will always be to
a) fly over to states check on a car
b) buy it in europe and traelthere (cheapest option) and you don't have any import hassle (not as far as i know)
best of luck
(btw. you can add a good third on the prices of american mustangs (in comparison of europe mustangs) as someone had to pay for shipping, duty and vat perviously ...
