Default Cream interior

Was the light beige/cream interior an original option? To make it so surely its just a case of taking it to a car fabric guy and he will replace the black leather?

Is it worth looking for a fastback with this interior to begin with or would I be limiting my chances of finding one?

There were a lot if different color options along the "cream" color lines. Parchment is the first one that comes to my mind but I'll give you some better info in a bit. A free NPD catalog that you could order would show a sample of all the interior colors.

This is the interior that inspired my question I think it looks great and was wondering whether to look for that since this is the first mustang ive seen so far with this colour. Or would it be easier to buy one with another interior and have it made to look like that?

That is the palomino interior color. That is what I have, and you will see several variations of the color

I wouldn't worry too much about interior color. It is a cheap and easy thing to change that probably doesn't need to be added to your specific list of things you're looking for. A classic mustang with minimal rust that is running and available to be sold/shipped overseas is already a pretty rare find

I agree. what 67sally is saying makes sense. It may be better to not narrow your search based on a easily replaceable thing loike interior. Rust, engine and completeness of the stang may be what one should put at the top of the list. THen you can change interior...even steering...or even go pony. even go restomod and put recaros if you want. but always make sure the foundation is solid. Interior and "cosmetics" are icing to the cake.

you prob shouldn't be too picky about exterior color in your situation either....id get any color solid car...thats able to be shipped....and ****** it up and get it painted how you want....if you find what you want and can get it....then more power to you.

i would agree to Shifty. Colors are easy. The hard part is making sure it is solid and reliable. Unless of course you wanted your ride in partridge family colors.
