Default cams

first i wanted to start off by asking what kind of rpm's do you think im making on my stang with the only upgrade a wieland stealth intake and a holley street avenger? my next upgrade in a couple of weeks is gona be a new cam and was wondering what would be the best one to go with.

I'm sure it's all over by 4700 rpm with the stock heads and cam. It may spin faster but will lose power.

Comp Cams makes a decent product. Read through all their information to help you make up your mind. I would think you would want to stick with a fairly mild cam with basically a stock engine.

ok ill take a look at those. i heard that holley makes some good cams im gona check them out just need to have some basic info on what im looking for. thanks

i would look into crane cams i forget but there products have been banned from a couple different racing series cause thier products are deemed too good LOL

with a stock converter, and only headers, intake and carb for bolt ons, I wouldnt go much bigger in a 289/302 than the ones you find on this page. I have used the summit cams before, they work pretty well for being cheap. So dont let the brand name scare you. Any of them on this page will work well for you.

If you want to do more to it, like deeper gears, more stall, bigger heads etc.. then things change. But for a stock engine this is all you need..

dont let the 67 in the search fool you. I have a 67 so i just use it for searching parts on there. Its still the same cam as a 66..
