Manual Q's

Manual Q's
I'm a proud new father of a 68 convertable!! I need to do a motor conversion and disk brake conversion etc, and I'd like to have the SHOP manual...not a Chilton or Haynes, but a REAL shop manual. Any suggestions?? I saw on Ebay a manual from Faxon. They also have an exploded view manual. Are these what I want?? I'm also rebuilding a 289 for her and I've seen some rebuild manuals too. Again any suggestions?? Thanx

RE: Manual Q's
what kind of motor conversion, as far as the shop manuels all of the vendors carry everything you need. Check amazon and see if you can get the same books for cheaper, I know they carry a few of the engine rebuild books that the mustang vendors sell

RE: Manual Q's
By far, of all the manuals I have pruchased, the one that gets the most use is the actual Ford factory manual for mustangs. They are available on the bay and at vendors. Very complete. Mine is about 20 years old and I still use it all the time.
Good luck.
Good luck.

RE: Manual Q's
These are original shop manuals on CD. I just find the section I need info on, then print out that section. No grease on my manual. I have a Chilton's that I can hardly read now because of the oil and grease on it.
