Yes, i was talking about the dipstick tube. And it broke off at the flange and didint give any to grip on to to pull it out. I put a large EZ out in and tapped it in, twisted and pulled up all at the same time and it took it right out. And... I didnt get any metal shavings in the engine( the idea of drilling it out was brought up by a friend) -Jon

You might try installing a drain plug with a magnet on it. Then just drive until your next oil change. You might get lucky and get the piece to stick to the magnet. Or you could get a magnet on a flexible shaft and try to get it by fishing through the drain plug hole. It's doubtful it would cause any problems if you just left it in there as it is heavier than oil and will rest on the bottom of the oil sump.
