Default Coolant Question

I took the Mustang out of the garage yesterday for an idle (and rev!) session. It was a cool day so I turned on the heater and then I heard gurgling sounds from the heater. I had a problem with over heating when I brought my car home a couple months ago so now I am wondering if the coolant level may be too low.

The cooling system is stock so it doesn't have a coolant resevoir to check the level. How can I check to see if it is too low?

well basically all u need to do is pop the cap and check the level of coolent in the radiator, make sure u run it with the heater on (so the coolent will pass thru the whole circut). best bet is to run it with heater, let it cool then check the level (btw get a bigger radiator stock isnt gonna cut it now a days)

the coolant should be about 1 inch below the filler neck.
