The one Aussie put up and the first one you listed are nice for dialing in your idle timing as well as mechanical advance and vacuum advance, when you are "curving" your distributor. The first one you picked out makes it a one tool project, where the less expensive one would need an additional meter, like the DVM you posted above.
I'd vote for the DVM and the timing light that Aussie posted for home use.
I'd add one more gauge for tuning, that being a vacuum/fuel pressure gauge. Vacuum gauges give you a real good indicator of mechanical condition of the internal components. I've had my old Sun vacuum/fuel pressure gauge since the mid 70's and I still use it all the time.
