Raising the rear
i got new leafs for my 66 mustang and the rear sits a little lower than the frount. i like the stance of the frount better so i want to match it with the rear. i was planing on buying some thick meadle and makeing new shackles that had the holes driled about a half intch further away from eachouther than the shackles i have now. i dont kno mutch about suspention and this is just the first idea that came to mind. is this a good idea or bad? is there a better way to raise the rear? thanks for any imput.

RE: Raising the rear
First thing we need to know is which leaf springs did you get? The standard eye will not change factory settings, but the reverse eye and the mid-eye will lower the rear from factory specs. Adding extension shackles is a bad idea. Do you have some new shocks on it?
