Default MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME

Me and my wife have a joint bank account that we both put equal amounts of money into every month for expenses and to take care of BUBBA (my eleven month old daughter). My wife gets paid every month while I get paid every two weeks.
I have just been reminded that I get THREE pay checks this month.................. You know what that means? SHOPPING SPREE!!!! That whole extra check is mine to do with what I please. My question is what shall I by first? I want to get an Oxy/Acetylene set up to practice on before I go to Mig. I need a front fender, rear quarters, cowls, and various other patch panels. Theres always the bigger air compressor. Damn the possibilities are endless!
Notice that I didn't mention rebuilding my engine. That will come later! Body comes frist after all!

How about a plasma cutter? I keep dreaming about one, but alas, not enough in the cookie jar yet. Here are three tools you will need if you don't already have them. Dwell meter, timing light and multi meter.

I have the timing light and multi meter.
I figure the first thing I need to tackle is the cowl and floorpans like I have read on many other threads. Since those are not visible I am going to get the Oxy/Acetlyne to practice on these areas, as well as my poor volkswagen bug. Then I was thinking about getting the compressoer and or all the panels I need to replace before I have a chance to waste the money on other purchases.

is oxy acetylene like easier to do than MIG welding or something....ive done a fair amount of OXY/acetylene in high school and didn't know it was any different really besides the fact how the heat is made...?

Already got the wife's presents (plural)! And yes it did take a chunk!
Didn't get the oxy or compressor this weekend. Airgas is closed on Saturdays so I vacuumed the tones of rat crap out of the stang and pulled the headliner. Now I get really bad sinus headaches and even though I was wearing a respirator I spent Sunday on the couch trying to crush my head with my hands. Still hurts today, but gotta work. Today I'll get my tanks and maybe tomorrow get the compressor that Shifty101Easy has form Sears.
The reason I'm going with Oxy first is that there are similarities in how you hold the torch and keeping a steady hand. I was pretty good a torch and would like to refresh my skill before I go to Mig. And since I am going to have to do some lead work on my A pillar and one of my rear quarters I thought wahat the hell!
