Default 68 Pony

Well First off id like to thank soaring for putting a swift end to my question prety well figured most all that from start i was expecting some wild mods as my father used to build older stangs (we wont go into what he did w the two 428 cj's he USED to have) but mentioned that most strips are weary of the converted stangs he doesnt remember for sure but somthing about a lighter body and bein unibody they twisted if u got too wild under the hood so if anyone has comments on that id like to hear them. as far as this 68 pony i think im buying it asuming i can convince the lady sad to hear myself say that lol... if i do purchase this pony i have a question for u mixed bloods out there. this pony has a 4 bolt main 350 in it w a 393 crank camed heavily (dont know specs) has tower dual quad carter afb's and according to the current owner only has 10 hours run time on it. Story on it is that he was going to race this pony but never finished the car the motor was assembled by a machine shop and claims he was told by the machine shop that a couple wrist pins were tight on assembly but that after running the motor they should fix themselves (not likely) and claims it to be non running i will be sure to determine that more accuratly upon ownership but it also has a late 80's vet rear end and a vet tranny i can get more details on those two later when and if i get the car but i most definatly will not leave those in the car and i could use some funds to get started anyways. i did have one other question and that would be about the motor i plan to use i kno the stangs that came w the 428 factory were modied from factory to even fit between the towers and being im using a 71 351 cleveland 4v its definatly larger than a 289 or 302 am i going to end up in modifications w the towers to fit down in there?

I don't know if you are being serious or sarcastic about thanking me. And, I have no idea of what you are asking because I have a very difficult time in reading your post with all the run-on sentences and absence of punctuation. In one sentence, what question do you have? If you are asking if a 428 will fit in a 65-66 Mustang, No it won't without some serious modifications.
