While I have never used anything but stock on my '70. My suspicion is that some preches with a bushing would do just as well on the street as the roller style for less money. I have been flamed for this in the past but I will say it again. I think the bushing perches will last longer as well. That being said, almost anything will be an improvement over the stock ones.

No one is saying anything bad about bronze bushings.
They are miles ahead of the rubber bushings...

In my earlier post I was refering to bronze bushings not the stock rubber bushings. 2bav8 knew what I was refering to. Just wanted to clear this up in case others did not understand.

Rubber bushings suck! I put them in my Comet before I knew there was anything better. That was 6 years ago and only about 3000 miles. Theyre already cracking and dry rotting and look like they need to be replaced. They werent cheapy parts store ones either, I got them from PST. Ill be pulling it apart in the near future to do the Shelby drop and a set of roller perches.
