The cam should be one of the last items considered when building your engine. You need to keep in mind the pistons and heads when determining your cam choice, especially the heads. Then the manifold should be picked out to perform best with the cam. Bottom end or top end power band on the cam? I'm sure with your set up you shouldn't need anything bigger than a 600 cfm carb. If you work at a speed shop they may have a dyno program on disk that you can play with to get the optimal and most efficient power for your engine.

na we don't got that we just sell the parts trust me but i have stock pistons and i have an edelbrock performer and a weiand action plus laying around the reasoon i am getting these heads is cause i am getting them cheaper than stock and i fig since i going into it that much why not put a mild cam in to take advantage of the heads

get some new rockers and dont forget new pushrods too


and dont forget Gaskets, i forgot them and had to order them last minute and it postponed me

well first it seems to me you need to fiqure out what you have and what you'll be buying as with what will be the primary use of car?....just the intakes you stated 1 is a daul plane and the other isn't...remember when choosing a cam smaller is better....I'd look at a cam cut on a 110 centerline to rev quickly and run out around 6250

i am actually guna get the comp cams xe262 its well within my operating range and any cam is far superior to stock
