Default looking for more performance

i have a 68 convt w a 302 w a few mods...looking to see if anyone has any ideas for max performance without burning a hole in my pocket.

A cam is a cheap way to get more power.... headers... a intake and carb could but carbs are gettin kinda expensive. What do you already have done?

well is the engine you have now stock if so how far are you willing to go is the question like new heads or reworked heads a stroker kit a intake and carb a cam its your call but you have to be asking yourself if i do any of this am i gunna have to include labor or am i gunn have to do it myself

$5k? okay...


Aluminum heads and a slightly bigger cam would be a good place to start. Figure on spending about $2000

thats pretty nice right there if they left stock heads then thats where i would start with new higher flowing heads

that was the first thing i did...flow-tech headers and magnaflow exhaust. my friend says i should get a posi rear before i start adding hp. wat do you think?
