Default Bumper guards

Does the 1966 GT have the rear bumper guards? If so I need a bracket to install them, and a picture of the bracket to get the right ones. NPD sent me a pair and have no clue of how they attach. Please help.

Not sure why Ford calls them bumper guards. They are more valance guards to me. Anyway, the lower bracket bolts through the valance, and the upper one goes right next to where the bumper is bolted. Pics are worth a thousand words.

If you have trumpet exhaust you won't need them.

Here is a link that confirms no rear bumper guards due to trumpet exhaust.

Gts did not have them because they would bolt on in the same place as the exhaust pipes
