Driveshaft length? 1969 coupe
Hey all. Currently swapping out 8 inch rear for 9 inch. New springs, disc brakes(even tho they came off a damn GM product).
My question is that I think the 9 inch is an inch longer at the pinion than the 8 inch? If this is true I need to shorten the drive shaft? Yes Iknow I can measure but I haven't gotten there yet. Any suggestions for a stock aluminum shaft out of something that will fit? Or a good price on aftermarket ? Not quite ready to pay the price of Denny or Haneline yet. The kids suck up all my car money!!!!!
If it wasnt obvious, I need to know the legnth of a stock driveshaft on 69 stang with a c4 and an 8 inch as oposed to the same car with the 9 inch?
