Default making headway

Hey,

Spent about 10 hours today prepping the body. Pulled the front and rear glass, all the rubber and felt, and started sanding again. I have switched to a body filler with fiberglass particles. I like it much better than old pink crap. When I pulled the glass I was anticipating rust in the window sills. Not one speck of rust! I was very pleased. I thought for sure there would be some since the rubber was cracked up pretty good. I think it did not rust becasue whomever installed the glass used a buttload of goooooo under the rubber. I'm not sure what it was but it was messy. The picture of the sill was taken after I removed the majority of the goo. I used a torch to heat the rest and wiped it out. The pic of the trash can is all the rubber from the doors.

I'm sorry I don't understand the question. I will tell you how I did take the glass out. Since the rubber was cracked and I was not going to save it, I cut the lip off and lifted the glass straight out. I then was able to pull the rubber out. If I were going to save the rubber, I would have sat inbetween the two seat and pushed the glass out with my feet. I have heard of string tricks and I'm sure there is a tool that peels the lip back but I didn't need that this time. True story about sitting between the seats. I've done that before.
