Default front suspension

Im just starting on a project 65, and want to do some upgrades. It already has the origional disc brakes, but I would like to do better with the whole steering and front suspension on this car. Ive seen rack and pinion swaps, and coil overs to replace the springs and shocks, but Im pretty sure there is something even better out there. I would like to cut out the whole thing, spring towers and all, re-panel the engine compartment with cleanflat panels, and do the suspension more like Mustang II. So the question is, where do I find the best new stuff to do this. If it is available as a kit, or if there are parts that all work together better even if I have to shop several sources, I would like to get input from anyone who knows or has done this. My plan in this area is to end up with a 5.0 motor, aod trans, rack& pinion (power steering) nice ride, and real clean looking engine compartment. Any ideas out there?
