Quick, give me something to fix.
Have you ever had one of those days where nothing you do on your car works, so you may as well just put the tools away and wait for another day? Well, I had one of those opposite experiences this morning. My driver's side door wasn/t shutting very well, so I followed Adrian's advice and loosened the two screw/bolts that hold the striker plate on and adjusted the striker plate. Wallllaaahhhh! The door shuts just fine now. Then, I noticed I didn't have a brake light on the passenger side. I took the bulb out and put it in the driver's side, and it was still good. So, it had to be somewhere in the wiring. I first checked the ground, then the positive Orange/blue wire for 12V. None.....so, I take off the kick panel and found the end of the orange/blue wire under the dash. I tested the wire coming from under the dash, and got 12V. So, it had to be the connection the PO made, Sure enough, that sh!tty connection was the problem. I took off that old connection, twisted the wires together, soldered them, then slipped the heat shrink of them and warmed it with my wife's trusty cig lighter. I have a door that shuts, and brake lights that work. Quick, give me something else to fix while I'm on a roll.

RE: Quick, give me something to fix.
Jumped on the trusty 'ol Massey and dug the 50' trench for my water pipe to my shed. Sitting here now maping everything out on paper and about to head to Home Depot to get material so I can get'er done.
Next week I meet with the engineer to listen to him tell me what I already know and that's how we need to run a new drop for electrical to my shed. Then I can dig that trench as well. I'll also be forming up the work pace for concrete and hopefully schedueling delivery for next weekend so I can have help when it gets here.
Not sure what I'll do between forming and delivery.
