Here are 3 (see next 2 posts, files are too large to put on one) of my 67 original 289, sorry, air cleaner is on...(I'm getting my motor pulled this winter and detailing the bay and rebuilding the motor, so this is sorta a "before" look for me...can't wait for the after!!!)

I have an Auto w/ added Power brakes..

JamesW, is that a Holley 4160? If so could you take some close ups of your PCV setup. Specifically where it connects at the carb. Thanks.

Cuz I'm a friggin idiot....

I want more power. I bought the car a year ago and have done so much work to it like all new suspension, brakes, interior, wheels...now I'm getting the power bug. I'm going w/AFR 165cc heads and a cam (TBD, maybe Comp XE262), pistons, balanced, etc...I have a couple of small (silver dollar sized) rot spots at the top of each of the inner most fender aprons, so while the motor is out, I'm gonna sand, paint, and replace as necessary. I'm a bit scared to see wht I find when I remove the motor. Firewall appears and feels solid to me, but you never really know til you take the motor out. I figure I'll probably only do this once, so I'm gonna do the engine bay right..remove fenders etc....

Car runs great, I just have the bug to beef it up a bit...its gonna screw now. It was either do this work or trade it for a67 440 GTX...but I like my Mustang better so I'm sticking with it...I like the stock looks I have, but its gonna be one heck of a sleeper now...It was a long thought process and prettymuch all year I was not going to get teh motor rebuilt, but I just kept getting the bug!!!
