Default One wire alt question

I have been searching for a while and I cannot find what year, make and model ford used a one wire alt.

I would really like to go ahead and get a one wire alt instead of messing with the voltage regulator.

Thanks in advance,

Parker

Ford doesn't use a one wire alterantor. It's aftermarket.

The 2G was in use in the late 80s. Not sure when it stared use. They were notorous for having problems with their harness connector wearing out. The 3G came along roughly '94 and has a big lug instead. The 3G is a higher output unit.

Here's some info that may help:

If you're simply trying to remove the VR and clean up the wiring at your core support, then here's a cheap alternative.
