Lol, I'd rather buy a 289 Hipo block... and i know where one is sitting. I'd buy it more for the originality of it i guess. People realized with you say it's a 289 Hipo... well most people anyway. However if i was very wealthly i would buy a crate engine probably, and not fool with building the engine, even though i do like building engines. I would buy the 351W with over 400 HP.... i've seen one somewhere.

As a mechanical enginner I can ensure that there is much much more to designing gears then the fact that they are round. Gears are a pita!
