Default There's a 94 Lincoln Mark VII....

...sitting outside my house, with a 5.0 EFI and AOD waiting to go into the Fastback!

Anyone want dibs on the 8.8? That's a swap that is above and beyond my skill level I think.

OOPPSIEE, sorry 1992. I was looking at a 94 GT as well. Typing and thinking are not my strongpoint.

I don't know about Lincolns, but the 4.6 DOHC engine was not used in Mustangs until the 1996 model year, and that was in the GT's. The Cobras got the 4.6 DOHC 32 valve jobbie like I have in my 03 Mach 1. Until 1996, Mustangs were still using a weak underpowered 5.0 liter engine.

yeah the lincolns got a 4.6 dohc cobra motor in 93(280hp i think)different cams and diffrent crank material etc

all u got to do to tfix the 96-98 4.6 is get 99 and up 4.6P.I. heads and ull have more power than a 99-04

for the brakes i beileve on of the gconversion kits use the lincoln parts

Not questioning you at all, but Wikipedia says Lincoln got the 4.6 in 1995. Guess they are wrong. Won't be the first time.

Absolutely....I would like to know which engine you have. Stephen says it's a 4.6 and you think it's a 5.0.

Wikipedia is stupid. I thought the 4.6's came out in 94 though in mustangs. oh well.

yeah ive seen 93 just dying to have me pirat the 24lb injectors,3g alt., and the electric fans for my 5.0 but i didnt have the cash

and who said the 5.0 was underpowered lol have u ever driven a fox mustang glen they are quick a good drive can get his underpowered 225hp mustang in to the 13sec zone bone stock they were a little under rated supposedly more like 240hp and the 300ft lbs is advertised isnt to shabby
