ORIGINAL: OhioMachIRunner69

Recently was listening to the Barrett/Jackson preview on Speed and they talked about Boss302 distributor values...I believe they said somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500.
My buddy heard the same thing...that is why he wants to sell his now

Its not worth it to me by a long shot, but theres an *** for every seat. My dad had a 427 SOHC timing cover- the one that went behind the timing gear. It was a totally flat plate, except for the curve around the distributor, and it was simple enough that I could have easily made it in my garage with a cordless drill and some tin snips. It was honestly that simple, and yet it sold for $800! Sorry I cant be of any help on your buddys distributor.
